Night Snow

Saturday, 5 December 2009 17:45 by Betty Cauler

I love the sight of snow falling between the power lines outside my home. The street lights give a nice warm glow (actually it's a horrible sodium-vapor orange that you can never quite filter out in Photoshop). But even so, the scene makes for interesting photographs.

I hope you are all staying safe, sane and uncluttered as Christmas approaches. Nothing is worth being in that much of a hurry.

The Living Hope Presbyterian Church in Wescosville is staging "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" tonight (Dec. 5) at 7 p.m. with all donations to go to the Allentown Rescue Mission. Check it out if you are looking for something to do. Lots of talented kids in this one.

The snow reminded me of this winter picture from my childhood home in Cedar Hollow showing our '56 Chevy wagon and another classic model.
